We are always looking for organisations who share our commitment to Independent Living. Sponsoring this event will offer you an excellent opportunity to match your organisation with an increasingly important issue in our society today.
What is Independent Living?
Independent living allows disabled people to participate in society as equal citizens, receive support to help them live in their own homes, join in community activities and fulfill their economic potential through work while at the same time exercising their human rights. These principles were drawn up by the Derbyshire Coalition of Disabled People.
Sponsorship of these national awards will offer for you the chance to position your organisation with a nationally recognised event, which gives credit to successful individuals and organisations.
Your organisation’s name will also be mentioned in all digital media communications including this website which will be actively promoted throughout the period leading up to the announcement of the winners on 3rd December - International Day of Disabled People.
