Pathways2Work is funded by the ESF Community Grant Programme, which has been granted by the government’s Education and Skills Funding Agency in partnership with Local Enterprise Partnerships to the Workers Educational Alliance to provide training and learning opportunities for people at risk of exclusion. Maxine said, "It’s been great getting to know clients. This week has all been about ensuring that the clients’ CVs showcase their individual skills, qualities, and talents so that they align to their job and voluntary aspirations. It’s also been about getting them into the habit of accessing the Friday Weekly Job Board as well as signing up to two job sites to get relevant job opportunities emailed to them. One thing that has stood out during the chats is that the clients are committed to either securing paid or voluntary work. Whilst it is more challenging in the job market at present, the clients recognise that making every effort to maintain a positive mindset is important and keeping on top of any job opportunities is a must. I really look forward to following their personal journeys over the next few weeks. I’ve had great support from Rhonda who’s been a gem, and I thoroughly enjoyed my induction with Michele as I learnt so much about the history of the organisation. I thought it would be great to share some feedback from two clients I’m working with who were enrolled on the Independent Living and the Pre-employability course, so do read on to see what they had to If you would like to come on any of these Pathways courses and want to know more, please contact us on [email protected] phone us on 0161 234 3950, text directly to 0793 994 3383 or drop into our office in person.
